LACMA’s Muse ‘til Midnight and Late Night Art join forces to present Korea: Future/Past. Experience our newly reinstalled permanent collection of Korean art and the acclaimed exhibition Your Bright Future: 12 Contemporary Artists from Korea. Enjoy live music, DJs, traditional and contemporary dance, interactive brush painting, Korean BBQ, and in-gallery readings throughout the LACMA campus from 8–11 pm. Starting at 10 pm, join Muse for the Muse ’til Midnight After Party in the LACMA West Penthouse until the clock strikes twelve—featuring b-boy battles, music, dancing, open bars, and complimentary snacks.

I am guessing that a group artists and art collectors were starting to go broke when they decided to throw this show…thus the not-so-clever exhibit title, GET RICH QUICK!

Regardless of the weak name, this is a show that you can not afford to miss. The artist roster is freakin AMAZING.

DJ/Producer duo, DJ Squeak E. Clean (Los Angeles) & DJ Zegon (San Paulo), recently released an incredible project called N.A.S.A. (North America South America). I used to intern for Squeak E Clean about 5 years ago when the album concept first got off the ground. And now it’s a full blown phenomenon! The debut album, Spirit of Apollo, features superb orignals by the duo coupled with an all-star lineup of emcees and vocalists such as Kanye West, Del The Funky Homosapien, David Bryne, Sizzla, Santogold, MIA, E-40, Gift of Gab, Chali2na, Ghostface Killa, and many many more!!

Peep out the new video for “Gifted” that was featured on MTV a few days ago. Mind bending visuals for that ass!
