FM ADVENTURE: DAYGO DREAMIN’ LA to San Diego = 2 hour drive or 1 and a half hours if you gassin it. LA to San Diego at 5pm (rush hour traffic time) = 3 and a half hours :( San Diego has been blessing us.. with “Girls On The Dance Floor” on main rotation major radio stations Z 90 and Blazin 98.9 while also getting love from Channel 933. With all that love we’re bound to have fun this time and since SD is so close its like a second home.. but this trip was one of the craziest and faaaar from home, too much fun to be feelin like home haha. Z90 invited us to do an interview at the station followed by a show in the Gaslamp district (party district) later a night.. a spot called Decos. We smashed thru some of the craziest traffic ever and arrived at the station right on time where we met up one of the coolest dudes in the game.. the host of the TOP 7 @ 7 named TRE... and thanks to yall “Girls On The Dance Floor” has been on the TOP 7 in San Diego a few times!

FAR EAST MOVEMENT interview on Z90 With TRE Click here to view the embedded video. after the cool interview we headed over to Downtown San Diego to the Sheraton Suites.. and you know anything with “suites” attached to the name will usuall be pretty cool. We spend alot of time touring and hotel rooms are now kind of like home to us. I see hotel rooms more than i see my mom and pop’s house for sure haha. Time for the FM TRAVEL – HOTEL REVIEW, cuz nothing beats a fancy hotel room… but also nothing can kill your trip more than stinky sheets with curly hairs under your pillow. Time to lobby lurk while we wait for our rooms… a nice hotel always has a welcoming lobby.. the type of lobby where if for some reason you couldn’t get a room after the party, you can crash in the hotel lobby. Kev Nish reppin the homies at Audio Excellence… you’ll find out later in this post why… Finally got our rooms.. off to the 21st floor and time for the Room Review with DJ Virman.. lets see if it get the “3 Fingers up” which means we’d definitely come back here and recommend it to you.. or the “Middle Finger UP’.. meaning we’re leaving this ****hole before we even look at the beds. Nice View of Downtown San Diego… Nice TV, spacious living room, and a nice cup to drink water out of… Great office space… feeling like a BOSS right now. Nice, cozy bed.. perfect to knock out in.. Nice, cozy bath tub… perfect to knock out in.. Virman says the water is delicious, possibly the best he’s ever had… and the rooms here at the Sheraton Suites get a 3 FINGERS UP all daaaaay. About that time to head over to Club Decos to rock the show, so Albert calls and says he’s going to have the homies pick us up from the hotel. We walk outside to look for a van and check out what we see instead….. SOME AUDIO EXCELLENCE.
Now when we talk about our music and the FAR EAST MOVEMENT reppin that So Cal lifestyle with fresh gear, party music and fixed up rides.. this is exactly what we’re talking about. Time to ride in style laced up with fresh new Orisue.. as Whats Up Wally says – “IM NOT MAD!” God is looking out and things are looking up.. this is how we used to roll when we visit Daygo…
Good size line outside the club and people were partying like party people do inside. Whenever the vibe is good before a show it always eases my stomach and instead of nervousness, i get excited. Dope thing about Decos is the VIP section.. they have big beds just incase for some reason you’re too tired to go home haha.
Our San Diego Asian Film Fest family, Terry and Kelly were in the house, and John and Virgil from Climax SD… Plus Todd E Todd from Z 90 and our homie/rapper named AKIM from a crew called Vox Merger came thru reppin wit 3 fingers up. We recently laced up a collab with Akim and Vox Merger called “DO OR DIE”, where we bring back a bit of that west coast skate tip flow from Folk Music on the 3rd verse. The song was produced by east coast beat master.. ILLMIND. Listen to the collab at Vox Merger’s Myspace and download the whole mixtape below.. Outside the club…FIGHT BREAKS OUT…. On that note.. we back to LA.. but this trip will have us DAYGO DREAMIN’ for a while. |
