Growing up I was that kid who always had to look at the credits when purchasing a new CD. I loved to see who wrote the song, who wrote the lyrics, and who produced the beats. To me, the creation of the song was just as important if not more than the performers themselves. Of course I did the same when it came to Korean music. When Drunken Tiger first came out on the scene, I noticed Roscoe Umali’s name a lot. Then I got to hearing his verses. From there I’ve seen his name featured alongside greats like E-40, Talib Kweli, and Dead Prez to name a few.

This is the first blog that Im posting, and though I realize people read blogs to be entertained rather than to be given speeches to, i have to and want to take this time to thank everyone who has helped make this track happen. Also, to everyone who has supported and been there for me along the way…

First, I’d like to thank the whole team at FR*A who are some of the dopest, hardest working, and down to earth cats I’ve ever met, not just in the music/entertainment industry, but in life in general… The 3 D’s: DPD, Danny Park, and Daniel Cho, you guys are family to me… I know that at anytime i can call you for anything (well maybe not anything), and count on you for your expertise on all the things that a gutter cat knows nothing about… Everything from linking banners to web addresses to keeping my microwave from overcooking the crust on a chimichanga… i hate that. Oh yeah, for letting me post useless, sleep inducing blogs on their website. You guys are the shit!

Second, and these 4 go together, Wonju for producing the new track, Kevnish for recording and co-writing the new track, Prohgress for having a dope hair cut, and J-Splif for always passing it to me even though i dont want it! haha… Naw, on the reals… I couldnt have dont none of this shit without you guys…

Third, my homies and co-hosts of the show TALKIN*ISH: Danny Cho and Grinch Green… Oh yeah, lemme not forget DJ Denkym and ZO on the 1′s and 2′s… thanks for… wait, what the fuck is it that we do on the show?! Shit, let me know when and if you figure it out… But either way, thanks.
